Community Healthcare Initiatives
Dr. FranSwainston established a free holistic health clinic in Cape Town in the 90's, funded by her own health product companies, being the original famous herb drops for weight loss Natruslim (now both the name and concept has been appropriated), and the incredibly successful Natruboost® Herbs for Men . The clinic was a valuable service to the community, most of whom had not previously been treated homeopathically, as consultations are expensive and, in those days, one could not claim for homeopathic treatment from medical aid. The clinic became an important community resource for patients seeking cure rather than their standard palliative treatment which was not making them better.
Once the clinic was set up and running smoothly with a staff of 3 doctors, Dr. FranSwainston left for a trans-Africa research expedition, funded by her own companies.

During the Cape Town to Ireland expedition, she was able to treat people with tropical and rare diseases not usually seen in urban areas, and also emergency medical conditions which are usually treated in a hospital casualty ward, because hospitals and medical facilities are scarce in Africa. This invaluable experience enabled her to use natural methods to treat illnesses that in the developed world would only be treated with chemical drugs where she experienced the true efficacy of natural medicine.
The experience became a defining part of her research philosophy, deepening her interest in the practical application and efficacy of natural medicine under challenging real-world conditions.

After the trans-Africa research motorcycle expedition, Dr. FranSwainston. wrote a No.1 bestseller on the cure for obesity published by Struik in 1997, then "Homeopathy The Complete Manual".
